| Account Activation
& Payment
- Each sale item you add is 'Activated' only when
a payment has been made
- Sale items may be paid for by credit card or EFT
online via your 'Sales Console'
- We accept Visa and Mastercard only (if paying
by credit card)
- Unpaid listings are automatically deleted after
several hours (To avoid deletion, make sure you
pay for ('Activate') your listing within a 3 hour
time-frame)
- When accounts are removed due to 'non-payment',
all customer, sale item and image information is
permanently deleted.
Sale Items & Pricing
- Each sale item added to your 'Sales Console' is
charged at $24.95 AUD.
- Sale item-costing is managed by an 'Express Checkout'
also available from within your 'Sales Console'
- All online 'Smart Bride' credit card transactions
are managed by Paypal® in accordance with global
SSL Standards
Sale Item Optimisation
- Each sale item that you optimise is charged at
$24.95 AUD
- Your optimised sale items will appear under our
'Exclusive Ad' category for a 12 month period, or
until sold (whichever comes first).
- Items that are optimised must be paid for within
30 minutes, otherwise they will automatically revert
to a standard listing
Sale Rejection
- 'Smart Bride' reserves the right to reject any
item for sale, if it is not adequately suited to
our directory.
- 'Smart Bride' reserves the right to remove stale
or redundant accounts, blank listings, and listings
where a payment has not been received by our office
- If a sale item is rejected, a full refund will
be incurred if a payment has been made.
- For security reasons, 'Smart Bride' does not allow
phone numbers or email addresses to be displayed
in listings
- 'Smart Bride' does not allow website addresses
to be inserted into any field
- 'Smart Bride' does not allow any HTML code to
be used in listings
Listing Refunds
Refunds are evaluated on a case by case basis.
Instances in which you
are entitled to a full refund include:
- If your listing has been paid for, and inadvertently
removed by our support team
- If you have paid for your listing twice
Instances in which you are not
entitled to a refund include:
- A violation of any of 'Smart Bride's' user policies
(See 'Sale Rejection' above)
- Where a listed item has been lost, stolen or
damaged
- Where a sale has fallen through
- Where a listing is deemed to be deceptive, misleading
or potentially malicious
Item Images
- 'Smart Bride' will accept a total of 3 images
per item added
- 'Smart Bride' will not accept images that individually
exceed 5MB in size
- Images that are submitted to Smart Bride, will
be manipulated and resized to suit our directory
at no additional charge
- Images can be submitted in any of the following
formats: JPG, GIF, PSD, PNG, BMP, PDF, DOC (X),
PPT, PUB

Using Internet Sourced
& Copyrighted Images
Copyrighted images are images that have 'prior
legal ownership'. Copyright and ownership (with
relation to images) is more simply defined as 'the
first person' to date stamp a particular image.
If you are using images that have been copied from
the Internet, make sure that you have prior permission
to do so.
'Smart Bride International' does not take any responsibility
for images that violate copyright law. We assume
in all instances that you have obtained 'prior permission'
before submitting your images to 'Smart Bride International'
Descriptive Content
- 'Free Text' item descriptions must be correctly
spell-checked before being uploaded
- Smart Bride reserves the right to edit any 'Free
Text' descriptions added to our directory
- Form 'Fields' must be used for the purpose they
were intended for. Entering erroneous or misleading
data into these fields is strictly forbidden
- Any listings displaying phone numbers or using
HTML will be edited by our support team
- Any listings displaying email addresses will be
edited by our support team
- Any listings displaying hyperlinks will be edited
by our support team
Sale Closure
- Sale items will remain in the 'Smart Bride' database
for a period not exceeding 12 months, unless otherwise
sold
- If an item is sold, 'Smart Bride' must be either
notified or the item must be correctly updated via
your 'Sales Console'
- Any sale item that is deemed to have been sold,
will be removed from our directory or be updated
accordingly
Sale Negotiation &
Return Policy
- 'Smart Bride' does not interact with the sales
process at any stage
- Sales are to be negotiated between the vendor
and buyer only
- 'Smart Bride' reserves the right to intervene
with the sales process if requested
- Smart Bride takes no responsibility for the delivery,
quality, packaging or the general condition of sales
items
